Organic paddy farming

These are Baranphul paddy saplings collected from our friend in Purnea.

Having successfully sown and transplanted our own Baranphul paddy saplings into our fields in June and July, we came to an end of our supply, with 1.65 acres yet to fill!

So yesterday we were able to collected some more Baranphul paddy saplings from friends in Purnea.

But it was not enough. 1.5 acres are yet to be planted!

Hence this appeal. If anyone has any scented paddy saplings available for us, please call us. We are determined to get away from BB11, which simply is not suitable for khichri, a favourite meal for many of us.

We would like to grow traditional varieties that smell sweet and fragrant, cook quickly, and mix perfectly with lentils and onions for a delicious meal.
